Two words: French toast. I had The Paramount’s caramel banana French toast for breakfast a few days ago and I’m still recovering from disappointment. I’m not at all disappointed in the meal, but in the fact that The Paramount has been ten minutes away from my apartment all this time and I never knew it was there.
The food is fresh and simple, yet flavorful. My plate held a giant helping of French toast, drizzled with butter, caramel, pieces of banana, and maple syrup. I give it a 10 out of 10. However, if French toast isn’t your thing, The Paramount has plenty of other breakfast options to choose from. Just to name a few, they offer a fantastic omelet selection, a variety of pancake flavors, and classic breakfast sides like bacon, sausages, and home fries.
For years now, The Paramount has been managing its long lines and crowds with a unique seating system: customers walk through the door and to the back of the restaurant, where they wait in line and finally place their orders. At that point, customers can search for an open table and sit down. At The Paramount, there’s no such thing as snagging a table then getting in line. After you order and sit at a table, staff will deliver the orders when they’re ready.
I’m already planning out my next visit to The Paramount for breakfast, and I’m happy to hear they have a sister restaurant, also named The Paramount, in South Boston.
