Author: Julia Argentati-Johnston
Julia lived in the lilac village of Lombard, Illinois until she left for college. She moved to Chicago while attending DePaul University, and has stayed in the city since. She studied abroad in 2011 in Leuven, Belgium (the home of Stella Artois), worked in Brussels and traveled around Europe for the semester. She is always in the process of planning her next trip, but Chicago (and Portillo’s) will always hold a special place in her heart. Julia takes writing courses at Chicago’s iO Theater, tries to keep up with her Thrifty Scout blog, and freelances for College News, Paow Magazine, and Sensa Nostra.
