Jackson, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park
Jackson is known as one of the best towns for outdoor enthusiasts. Few landscapes in the world are as striking and memorable as the Tetons. Pair that with the most challenging inbound skiing in North America (Jackson Hole), tons of boondocking, great breweries, a lively downtown scene, and you’ve got every adventurer’s dream destination. Below are a few of our favorite spots in and around Jackson and the Tetons.
Melvin Brewing – This is a really good brewery and Thai place (random, but it works) in the middle of Jackson, WY. It also has a taproom in Alpine that you can boondock by.
Boondocking Spots Outside Jackson – We boondocked for a few nights near Jackson and really enjoyed it. Just be warned, it gets crowded and cell service is poor, so don’t expect to work from here.
Snake River Brewing – This is a fun brewery in downtown Jackson that utilizes sustainable brewing practices and has a bunch of outdoor games, including cornhole and mini-golf.
